This earlier study, conducted as part of the researcher’s academic training before her doctoral work in pharmaceutical nanotechnology, reviewed and evaluated the antimicrobial properties of carbon-based nanoparticles. It reflects a foundational interest in nanoparticle behavior and characterization that carried forward into her later, more specialized work on lipid-polymeric hybrid nanoparticles for cancer gene therapy.
